High School Baseball Tryout Preparation Training

Coach Tony Akers, Manager of the Rage 15U and Board President for the RRSBA organization will be running two 5-week baseball performance-training packages for local High School baseball players in preparation for upcoming High School baseball team try-outs. This is open to all baseball players in the surrounding areas.

Our Facility contains two hitting tunnels and over 2,000 ft. of newly laid turf including a 50in TV for video analysis use.

This is a training program to assist baseball players in their preparation for High School baseball try-outs as well as the 2018 season.

Training Dates for Session 1 – Sundays 10am – 12pm

December 10th, 17th, 30th (note Saturday 10am-12pm for Dec. 30th)

January 7th, 14th

Training Dates for Session 2 – Sundays 10am – 12pm

January 21st, 28th

February 11th, 18th, 25th

There will be 15 slots available for each session for this program with a minimum of six registrations for program to run.

Our Training Focus will include:

• Hitting, Bunting, Offensive Mind-set
• Swing Breakdown w/ Video Analysis with hitting software from Zepp Baseball Training
• Fielding - Infield & Outfield Drills on proper mechanics
• Throwing Sessions
• Conditioning, Speed, Agility, and Footwork
• Day of Tryout mind-set, what to expect and how to present yourself and your abilities

Cost: $199 for Session 1 or 2. Each session is 2 hours each with focus on above listed training.

Cost: $350 if you wish to take part in both sessions for 10 weeks of training.

Program allows missing one training session with a makeup date to be set later.
